
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 3, 2010) - The Professional Bull Riders announced that rising Australian country music trio The McClymonts are scheduled to perform on the Cooper Tire Stage before the elite Built Ford Tough Series Jack Daniel’s Invitational on Aug. 14 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.
Tickets begin at $10 and can be purchased at www.TicketMaster.com and by telephone at (800) 745-3000. Bull riding begins at 7:50 p.m. on Aug. 14 and at 2 p.m. on Aug. 15.
The trio, who will perform during intermission of the Nashville event, are from New South Wales, which is also the home of BFTS riders Brendon Clark (Morpeth, New South Wales, Australia) and Ben Jones (Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia) as well as brothers Jared Farley (Kempsey, New South Wales, Australia) and Pete Farley (Kempsey, New South Wales, Australia), who represented Australia in the 2010 PBR World Cup.
The three McClymonts sisters - Brooke, Sam and Mollie - are scheduled to perform a few dates with Jason Aldean this fall after touring with Australian of the Year award winner Lee Kernaghan, performing before sold-out crowds at music festivals across Australia. The Country Music Awards of Australia named the trio Best Group or Duo three consecutive years and honored them as New Talent of the Year in 2007 and for Vocal Collaboration of the Year in 2010.
They will release their first album in the United States, “Chaos and Bright Lights,” on Executive Music Group on Aug. 17. The album was recorded in Nashville and produced by Adam Anders, who is the music producer for FOX’s hit show “Glee.” Anders has also worked with Nick Lachey, Backstreet Boys, Shania Twain, Sinead O’Connor, Hannah Montana and Nick Jonas.

The BFTS is having the deepest title race in history, and there have been 16 different winners through the first 22 events. There are 11 riders in the Top 20 of the BFTS standings who have won an event. The multiple-event winners for 2010 are second-ranked Austin Meier (Kinta, Okla.) with four wins, top-ranked Renato Nunes (Buritama, Sao Paulo, Brazil) with three wins and third-ranked Valdiron de Oliveira (Aparecida de Goiania, Goiás, Brazil) with two wins.
The BFTS standings lead has changed nine times and there have been six different riders at the top this season. J.B. Mauney (Mooresville, N.C.) has been ranked first three different times, while Meier and Nunes have each held the top spot twice.
