The Professional Bull Riders Returns to Tulsa for Three Action-Packed Performances!

PUEBLO, Colo. (July 14, 2008) - Look out, Oklahoma! The top 45 bull riders in the world are taking over the city of Tulsa on July 18-20 for the 23rd stop on the Professional Bull Riders’ (PBR) elite Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS) tour. The Express Classic presented by Creek Nation Casino will be held at the Tulsa Convention Center on Friday, July 18 at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 19 at 6:50 p.m., and Sunday, July 20 at 2:00 p.m.

For as little as $10, fans will be able to see the world’s best bull riders test their skills against the top bucking bulls in the business. They will also be treated to more than two hours of rock & roll music, pyrotechnics, and an up close and personal view of the Toughest Sport on Dirt. Tickets are available at the Tulsa Convention Center Box Office or online at Tickets.com.

Fans can expect to see Express Ranch’s Team Extreme riders, Luke Snyder (Raymore, Mo.), Travis Briscoe (Edgewood, NM), and 2002 PBR World Champion Ednei Caminhas (P. Alves, SP, Brazil). Also in competition will be world no. 1 bull rider Guilherme Marchi (Leme, SP, Brazil) and Oklahoma bull riders, two-time and reigning PBR World Champion (2005 & 2007) Justin McBride (Elk City, Okla.), Cord McCoy (Tupelo, Okla.), Austin Meier (Kinta, Okla.), and Kolt Donaldson (Idabel, Okla.). This will also be Tulsa’s final opportunity to see the legendary three-time PBR World Champion, Adriano Moraes (Cachoeira Paulista, SP, Brazil) who announced that the 2008 BFTS season would be his farewell tour.

On Saturday, fans will be treated to several acitivities around Tulsa starting with the TeamPBR Meet & Greet with the top 45 bull riders in the world, which gets underway at 9 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza Tulsa. This will be followed by the tenth PBR Bull Draft of the 2008 season starting around 11:15 a.m. Each bull rider will be given the opportunity to select his bull for Saturday night’s competition based on his performance on Friday night. The rider who wins round one will select his bull first, while the rider with quickest buck-off time selecting last. Additionally, the 15 riders who qualify for the Built Ford Tough Championship Round on Sunday will select their bull during intermission.

Tulsa fans can also look forward to the exciting Zantrex-3 Insta-Shot Grudge Match which will be featured at the end of round two on Saturday, July 19. As the event winner in Dallas, TX, Mike Lee (Decatur, TX) selected close friend, Dustin Hall (Springfield, Mo.) who was the co-event champion of The Cooper Tires Invitational in Chicago, Ill., as his Grudge Match opponent. Check out if the $15,000 in prize money will be collected!

The Tulsa event will be one of the featured stops on the Bull Team Challenge Tour where twenty-two teams are competing for their share of the $1.1 million total tour purse and the $250,000 prize for the top team of 2008. In stop thirteen of seventeen, the Bull Team Challenge will present $20,000 to the team whose total score is the highest for the weekend and $10,000 to the second-highest scoring team.
