LAS VEGAS (October 19, 2010) - The Professional Bull Riders announced that they have reached a multi-year agreement with Stanley Black & Decker to be the “Official Tools and Security Solutions Partner of the PBR.”

It is an extension of a partnership that provides Stanley Black & Decker with a presence at elite Built Ford Tough Series events and PBR Fan Zones in the United States and in Brazil through the PBR’s Brahma Bull Series. Stanley Black & Decker also will conduct promotions in select BFTS cities with PBR riders at local retail partners.

The in-arena components include signage, both affixed and electronic, promotions, a concourse booth and public-address announcements as well as tickets, including chute seats and behind-the-scene tours.

“We are very pleased to be able to extend our working relationship with established brands like Stanley Black & Decker,” said Kevin Camper, Chief Partnership & Sales Officer for the PBR. “Their tools have become an integral piece of production for the BFTS and Touring Pro Division in the United States and for the Brahma Bull Series in Brazil.”

Stanley also will continue to sponsor a group of riders on both the BFTS series in America and on the BBS series in Brazil, including Silvano Alves, who is the leading candidate for PBR Rookie of the Year in 2010, and PBR World Champions Kody Lostroh (2009), Guilherme Marchi (2008) and Mike Lee (2004) as well as three-time PBR World Champion Adriano Moraes.

"We're excited to be announcing a multi-year extension to our current program with the PBR, and are equally excited to have such a great team of bull riders carrying the Stanley brand in the Built Ford Tough Series each week," said Scott Bannell, V.P., Corporate Brand Management. “We are thrilled with our PBR partnership, and would like to extend our thanks to all of the PBR fans who support each of our riders and the great sport of Professional Bull Riding.”
