
NEW YORK (March 15, 2010) - The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) has been nominated for Professional Sports League of the Year by the 2010 Sports Business Awards presented by Street & Smith’s Sports Business Journal and Sports Business Daily. This is the first time the PBR has been nominated for this award.
Other nominees in the Professional Sports League category are Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association, and the National Football League.
The 2010 Sports Business Awards recognize excellence and outstanding achievement in the business of sports for the period from January 1, 2009, through February 28, 2010. Professional major and minor leagues whose central offices are located in North America were eligible.
Winners will be announced at an awards gala on Thursday, May 20, in New York.
