NILE Invitational

BILLINGS, Mont. (April 18, 2009) - The PBR’s top 40 bull riders invaded Rimrock Auto Arena at MetraPark for the second of three performances in Billings, Mont. The NILE Invitational presented by Cooper Tires, stop #18 on the prestigious Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) tour, showcased the world’s best as they took on the toughest bulls the PBR had to offer in front of a packed Saturday night crowd. At the end of round two, current world no. 1 Kody Lostroh (Longmont, Colo.) found himself at the top of the leader board after scoring 91 points on the bull, SoulJa Boy, owned by Priest Creek Ranch.

Second place went to last year’s Billings event winner Zack Brown (Santa Fe, Texas) who took on Chad Berger/Denny Hawks’ bull Scaredy Cat for 88 points. Third place went to BFTS alternate L.J. Jenkins (Texico, N.M.) after riding the bull, Live Wire, owned by Chad Berger/Clay Struve, for 87.75 points while Canadian cowboy Aaron Roy (Asquith, SK, Canada) scored 87.5 points on Walk the Line, owned by Ian Sissons Bucking Bulls.

Due to his round one win at The NILE Invitational, Team Enterprise rider Kody Lostroh (Longmont, Colo.) was eligible to compete for the $5,000 Enterprise Rent-A-Car “Ride with the Best” bonus during round two. Because of his qualified ride on the bull, SoulJa Boy, owned by Priest Creek Ranch, he was awarded the $5,000 bonus. As the winner of round two, Lostroh will again be eligible for the $5,000 bonus during round three of competition.

The NILE Invitational presented by Cooper Tires concludes tomorrow as the world’s best bull riders compete in round three and the Built Ford Tough Championship Round to decide who will take home the coveted event title. Tune-in to VERSUS on Monday, April 20 at 12:30 a.m. EST to catch all the non-stop action!
