Final 2 Rounds of Tecate Light Invitational in Anaheim on NBC!
New York, NY (January 28, 2010) - Don’t miss the Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) on NBC this weekend!
The Tecate Light Invitational from Anaheim, Calif., may be over, but the action lives on! Be sure to catch the final two rounds of competition on NBC this Saturday at 4:30 ET. Check your local listings.
Catch reigning World Champion Kody Lostroh (Longmont, Colo.) return to his winning ways with a 90.5-pointer for his first Built Ford Tough Series win of the year! Lostroh was one of five riders to go 4-for-4 this past weekend as he claimed the win in Anaheim for the second consecutive year. Watch as New Mexico’s Travis Briscoe (Edgewood, N.M.) rocks the bull riding world by knocking J.B. Mauney out of the No. 1 spot in the world standings.
In a surprising turn of events, Anaheim event also turned out to the last of veteran Brian Herman’s (Victoria, Texas) career. The 39 year old, who was the last of the original PBR co-founders still competing, announced his retirement following an 88.5 point effort on Copper in Round 3.
Anaheim reset the game, proving that at this early stage, it’s still a 40-man race to the top. It’s the best bull riders in the world and the rankest bulls on the planet battling it out in your living room, this Saturday, 4:30 ET on NBC.
The PBR is the premiere bull riding organization in the world, boasting contestants from the United States, Mexico, Australia, Brazil, and Canada. One of the fastest growing sports in the country, the PBR’s events air weekly on VERSUS, NBC, CBS, and FOX.
