PUEBLO, Colo. - The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) are setting Glendale, Arizona on fire as they return to Jobing.com Arena for one night of non-stop action on February 22! In stop #11 of the prestigious 2009 Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) tour, the top 40 bull riders in the world will compete for the coveted Glendale Invitational title. The event will showcase the world’s best riders going head to head with the top bulls the PBR has to offer with action getting underway on Sunday at 6:00 p.m.

Topping the list of competitors are 2004 PBR World Champ Mike Lee (Decatur, Texas), PBR superstars Ryan Dirteater (Hulbert, Okla.), Kasey Hayes (Liberal, Kan.), L.J. Jenkins (Texico, N.M.), and Luke Snyder (Raymore, Mo.) who will be competing in his 245th consecutive BFTS event. The top cowboys will ride alongside the 2008 PBR World Champion Guilherme Marchi (Leme, SP, Brazil) and current #1 bull rider in the world J.B. Mauney (Mooresville, N.C.).
The Glendale Invitational consists of two rounds of competition with the first round featuring the top 40 bull riders randomly matched against the PBR’s toughest bulls. The riders with the top 15 scores will advance to the Built Ford Tough Championship Round after intermission on Sunday and in the end, the cowboy with the highest total score on two bulls will be declared the winner!
