PUEBLO, Colo. (February 20, 2009) - The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) is proud to announce that attendance for LIVE events for the Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) is up 10.7% compared to attendance in 2008. The results are after nine Built Ford Tough Series events in the 2009 season have been completed. The PBR made modest changes in ticket pricing, making it more affordable for fans and families affected by the economy. The change in ticket prices has resulted in a nominal decrease of $1.10 in the average ticket price.
“We feel very fortunate to be experiencing continued growth in a challenging economy,” Randy Bernard, PBR’s Chief Executive Officer, stated. “We believe it is a testament to the great athletes in the sport, one of the greatest races for the World Championship in our history, and our unwillingness to compromise the quality of the events and entertainment value we bring to PBR fans.”
The top 40 bull riders in the world head to Anaheim, Calif., and Glendale, Ariz., over the weekend of February 20 for stops #10 and #11 on the prestigious tour.
