Mandalay Bay, Treasure Island named PBR World Finals Official Host Hotels

LAS VEGAS (May 26, 2010) - The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) is excited to announce that the Official Host Hotels for the 2010 PBR World Finals will be the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and Treasure Island Hotel & Casino with each hosting 20 of the 40 riders competing for the PBR World Championship on Oct. 20-24 at the Thomas & Mack Center.

“The PBR is happy to continue our long-standing partnership with Mandalay Bay while also being able to include Treasure Island,” said Kevin Camper, chief sales and marketing officer for the PBR. “We are happy that our riders, sponsors, staff and fans will be able to experience world-class facilities and hospitality at two of the best properties in Las Vegas.”

Mandalay Bay will host the round winner buckle presentation each night in the PBR bar. Treasure Island will host a celebrity blackjack tournament to benefit the Rider Relief Fund on Tuesday and will be the official after party host on Wednesday and Friday at Gilley’s, which had its grand-opening celebration in conjunction with the PBR World Cup in April.

The PBR World Finals are at 6 p.m. on Oct. 20-23 and at 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 24. Tickets begin at $21 and can be purchased at the Thomas & Mack Center box office, online at www.unlvtickets.com and by telephone at 866-PBR-SHOW.
