DES MOINES, Iowa (April 27, 2010) - Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) is heading back to the Midwest, this time bringing the elite Built Ford Tough Series tour to Iowa, for the Des Moines Invitational presented by Midwest Ford Dealers and brought to you by Troy-Bilt. For two nights only, Friday, April 30 at 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 1 at 6:50 p.m., the Top 40 bull riders in the world will take over the Wells Fargo Arena and battle it out against the best bulls the PBR has to offer.

Tickets are on sale now for as little as $10, and can be purchased online at Dahlstickets.com, in person at the Wells Fargo Arena box office, or by calling (866) 553-2457. Fans will get to witness firsthand the bone-crushing action of The Toughest Sport on Earth, with over two hours packed full of thrills and spills, pyrotechnics and rock & roll music.

Expected to compete in Des Moines are current world leader Renato Nunes (Buritama, SP, Brazil); current No. 4 in the world standings J.B. Mauney (Mooresville, N.C.); and Team Brazil World Cup member Guilherme Marchi (Leme, SP, Brazil); as well as PBR fan favorites Shane Proctor (Mooresville, N.C.), Jody Newberry (Ada, Okla.), Ryan McConnel (Colgate, Okla.) and Brazilian Valdiron de Oliveira (Aparecida de Goiania, GO, Brazil).

The invitational will consist of three rounds of competition, with the first two rounds featuring the Top 40 bull riders matched against the PBR’s rankest bulls. The scores from the two rides will be combined and the riders with the Top 15 scores will advance to the Built Ford Tough Championship Round after intermission on Saturday. In the end, the cowboy with the highest total score on three bulls will be declared the winner!

As an added bonus to the weekend, fans can meet the stars of PBR at the Bass Pro Shops in Altoona, Iowa, on Saturday, May 1 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. PBR riders, Dickies Dura Bullfighters and other PBR personalities will be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.
