Tickets begin at $15 and can be purchased at PFI Western Wear Store, 2816 South Ingram Mill Road in Springfield, online atwww.missouristatetix.com, by telephone at (888) 476-7849 or (417) 836-7678. Bull riding begins at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17, at 6:50 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18 and at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 19.

The Springfield event will feature three rounds of the Top 40 bull riders matched against the top bulls in the PBR. The scores from the three rides will be combined, and the Top 15 riders will advance to the Built Ford Tough Championship Round following intermission on Sunday afternoon, where they will compete with one more bull. The rider with the highest total score after the championship round will be declared the winner.

The PBR is having the deepest title race in history with nine lead changes and six different riders on top of the BFTS standings and 16 different winners through the first 22 events.

Springfield will be the second event in the Final Five Chase as riders fight to qualify for the 2010 PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals on Oct. 20-24 in Las Vegas and the chance to win $1 million.

For the final five events of the regular season, the Top 10 riders (based on points) in the BFTS standings will compete for double the BFTS points in a special extra round following the first round. Each of the riders will be given the opportunity to ride an extra bull with the winner receiving an additional 200 points and the 10th-place rider being credited with 20 points. Riders who successfully ride in the extra round will also be credited for their score. There will also be extra prize money awarded with first place receiving $4,000, second place being given $3,000, third place taking home $2,000 and fourth place getting $1,000.

The Top 10 riders at the beginning of the Final Five Chase will be eligible to compete in all five double-point rounds, even if they drop out of the Top 10. If a rider moves into the Top 10 during the Final Five Chase, he will become eligible to compete in the extra rounds along with the original 10 riders. If a Top 10 rider is unable to compete due to injury or elects not to compete, the next highest eligible rider will be selected.

Points earned in the Final Five extra round are not used to determine the event winner.
