CHEYENNE, Wyo. (July 22, 2008) - The Cheyenne Frontier Days Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) Copenhagen Bull Riding Challenger Tour stop proved lucrative for Australian young gun Jared Farley (Kempsey, AUS) on Tuesday night at Frontier Park in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Farley claimed his second Cheyenne event title in four years with 178 points on two bulls. Farley added $13,332 to his career earnings.

Farley scored 88 points on Chad Berger’s prize bull, Texas, in the long round. In the short go, he rode Mean Machine, also owned by Chad Berger, for 89.5 points and took not only the short go win, but also wrapped up the overall Cheyenne event title.

“It feels great,” Farley commented. “It means more to me to win this event than any other bull riding in the world.”

Farley has been a steady member of the top 45 bull riders in the world who travel week to week to compete in the PBR’s elite Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS). He is currently sitting number 34 in the world and has almost $350,000 in career earnings.

Colorado bull rider Kody Lostroh (Longmont, Colo.) took second with 177 points on two bulls while Shane Proctor (Mooresville, N.C.) rounded out the top three with 176.5 points. Lostroh took home $13,332 for his efforts and Proctor added $5,252 to his wallet.
