New York, NY (February 13, 2010) - Professional Bull Riders, Inc (PBR) fan favorite and all-around good guy Cord McCoy (Tupelo, Okla.) makes his reality television debut this weekend on CBS’s Emmy award-winning series, THE AMAZING RACE.

“I’m so excited for the premiere,” said McCoy. “I think it’ll be more exciting to watch the show with my family and friends than it was actually doing the race.”

McCoy and his brother Jet join 10 other teams as they race around the world for a chance at winning $1 million. Traveling nearly 40,000 miles across five continents and eight countries, Cord and Jet will put their cowboy training to the test when they start off the race by navigating through the congested streets of Los Angeles. For the first time ever, contestants must rely solely on public transportation to make their way to LAX.

“Most people know that my career is all about competition,” continued McCoy. “This was just another competition for me, and that’s why I wanted to do it. It’s addictive. And I got to race with my best friend and brother, which was awesome.”

The Teams' first destination is in Chile where they will encounter one of the most daunting roadblocks in the history of the series. Throughout the show, they will also participate in a grueling World War I reenactment in France, retrace the early days of the iconic rock group, The Beatles, and come face-to-face with one of the world’s most infamous villains.

Don’t miss the McCoy brothers on THE AMAZING RACE, premiering this Sunday, Feb. 14 at 8:00pm/7pm CT on CBS. Check your local listings for details. To find out more about the show, go to http://www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race/#in.
