Calgary, AB, Candada (June 17, 2010) - On June 21, 2010, in celebration of Canadian National Aboriginal Day, the Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) will team up with the Tsuu T’ina Nation for the Tsuu T’ina Nation PBR Invitational in Calgary, AB, Canada at the Grey Eagle Casino.
Fans will witness first-hand the best bull riders in the world as they take on the rankest bulls on the planet. “Not only is the PBR a tremendously exciting sporting and family event,” commented Tsuu T’ina Chief Sandford Big Plume, “but holding it at Tsuu T’ina on National Aboriginal Day is a great way to celebrate the culture of the West and First Nation’s contribution to that culture.”
Harve Stewart (Stephenville, Texas), current PBR Canada season leader; reigning Canadian PBR Champion Beau Hill (West Glacier, Mont.); Canada’s current #1 ranked bull rider Aaron Roy (Asquith, SK); Brazilian World Champion Robson Palermo (Rio Branco, Acre, Brazil); and five native bull riders including Indian Champion Guyton Tsosie (Burnham, N.M.) are among the 40 riders participating. The event begins at 7:00 p.m.
This one-of-a-kind event will also feature world class bulls from the top seven stock contractors in Canada, including Unibomber (Enno/Kubinchuck) and 2009 Canadian Bucking Bull of the Year Slash (Tumblin Dice). Also up for grabs at the Tsuu T’ina Nation PBR Invitational is $30,000, the biggest one day payout in Canadian history.
