Accident claims life of 12-year-old Richard Wayde Hamar

PUEBLO, Colo. Jun 29, 2009 – Sunday morning, 12-year-old Richard Wayde Hamar was tragically killed during a bull riding competition at the Little Britches Rodeo at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont, Colo.

According to a report in the Denver Post, Hamar, who was wearing a helmet and protective vest, was stepped on by the bull in his abdomen after being thrown to the ground. — (More).
