The Father does not define us by simply defining us, He invites us to become His children. When we receive this gift we are not only His children, but heirs to His Kingdom. Everything that is His is ours as well.As we begin to draw near to our Father and spend time with Him, He begins to impart His love and purpose to us. The way He defines us has very little to with us personaly and everything to do with His love toward us. When we respond to His voice He sets our life on course for His plan.
We are not qualified for the Kingdom of God by our own efforts but by the acceptence of the Father through the obedience of Jesus Christ who willingly went to the cross to die in place of sinful man. His act of obedience qualifies us to approach the Father with confidence, not as strangers but as friends who know Him and are known by Him.
He has known us from before the foundation of the world and has chosen us to share in His Kingdom. He approves of us yet He gives us free will to choose to love Him or not. He continues to pour out his Spirit to us so that the Kingdom of God will flow to us, in us and through us.
The Father will not control His children, rather He directs them by speaking to them. Those who are desperatly listening for His voice will hear what the Father has to say. As we hear Him and respond to what He is sayingHe begins to trust us with more of His Kingdom and power. To hear His voice and to be obedient to what He tells us will manifest in our lives with joy, peace and purpose not heaviness, confusion or distraction.
We are not defined by a moral code of conduct that we are not capable to live up to. Our relationship with Him defines us by His love for us through the obebience of our Lord Jesus Christ. As we allow Him access to our lives through the things He speaks to us, our identitybecomes quick and sure as we know that we are one who belongs to the Father. We will then be defined by HIS standard (a child of the King) rather than be defined by anyother source.
As children we will take on the DNA of our Father. His character becomes ours. Then we will begin to function as we are created, without need to be anounced or presented, just being His and going forward in His plan.
His plan is that His children are an accurate representation of Him to those who have not yet chosen to enter into the Kingdom of God. People are looking for the real thing. If we fail to hear from the Father for ourselveswe will not know how to show them the real, only a warped view of who the Father is. Get to know HIM.
Jesus Loves You
