JUST SAVED OR •••••••
Oct 2008

The plan of salvation has for so long been presented as a means to miss hell and gain Heaven. Sort of an insurance policy. Many people, leave salvation at the door of introduction and never give it any other thought. Salvation has as much to do with the plan God has for our journey through life as it does the destination.
Any relationship starts with anintroduction followed by getting aquainted and finding out about one another. There is no substitute for good old fasion spending time together to deepen our relationship with someone. Once we get to know the other person's character and traits we have conviction as to how we feel toward the other person. This is when we either cultivate the relationship or leave it. Our relationship with God is no different. As our relationship deepens we will begin to trust Him and give Him full access to the very center of who we are and what makes us tick. This then gives Him the opportunity to speak to us and change the mindsets we have allowed to mold us for so long.
God has stratigicaly placed each one of us geographicly and in this specific timeframe of eternity with a purpose. Acts 17:26-27 tells us that He did this so we would seek and find Him and that He is not far from each one of us. Just a decision away. John 1:12 says that as many as receive the gift (Jesus), to them He gives the right to be called His children. He not only wants our friendship but He offers us a family with Him in the lead as our Father.
2 Corinthians 5:15-21 says that when we receive salvation we are a new creation, no longer desiring to fulfill the draw that sin had on us and we become ambassadors for Him and His Kingdom. AMBASSADOR; (One who is fully accredited to represent the one who sent him or her). People are tired of seeing a poor representation of the Father. Not that any of us can be perfect but if we cultivate our relationship with the Father we will not leave salvation at the door of introduction, we will become mature followers of Jesus, then we will fulfill His plan for our lives.
The very essence of the Father is LOVE. If we are to represent Him accuratly we must be motivated by and walk in love. What are you motivated by?
Jesus loves You.
