2009 Bullriders of America Finals is in the books[Oct. 20, 2009] Jimmy Twedt Wins BOA Year-End Championship
Cory Griebel Wins MWB Year-End Championship
The Bullriders Of America (BOA) held their finals on October 16 - 17, 2009 at the Tri State Rodeo Arena located in Fort Madison, Iowa. The top riders of the BOA competed in four rounds of competition on the top bulls provided by the stock contractors of the association. After two days of tough cometition it was Jimmy Twedt who took home the prized Year-End Championship and the Bob Berg buckle. Jimmy and Willy Ropp fought a hard battle all year long for this award. Willy did have the satisfaction of going home as the event champion winning the average by riding all four of his bulls for 344 points and $ 1,608.75 pay check plus his own Bob Berg buckle. Bullriders Of America Finals Bring Fall Excitement To Iowa[Oct. 9, 2009] The 2009 Bullriders of America (BOA) Finals will be held over the weekend of the 16th & 17th of October in Fort Madison, IA at the Tri-State Rodeo Arena. This is the fifth year the Tri-State Rodeo Arena has hosted the finals. The Midwest Bullfighters Association (MWB) will also be holding their finals in conjunction with the event. The elite of the best competitors from both the BOA and the MWB will set forth competing for over $15,000 in cash and prizes in an all out adrenaline filled action packed weekend that is bound to overload your senses. The Extreme "caravan" visits Deshler, NE on its Five Day-Four Stops Journey![Aug. 8, 2009] he Extreme Bullriding Tour made its first visit to the Thayer County Fair on August 7. The fair which is located in Deshler, NE was the third stop for the tour during one of the busiest weeks of the tour. Many of the riders have been following along with the tour for the four stops in five days adding to the excitement at each stop as they reveal in the competition as well as the fellowship between riders and fans. Standing Room Only Crowd Greets Bullriders in Atlantic [Aug. 7, 2009] The Extreme Bullriding Tour stop in Atlantic, Iowa, has a reputation - a very good reputation. With a capacity of close to 5000 the stands are traditionally full so it was no wonder that at 4:30 PM, three hours before the event started, there were already 200 people in the stands. By starting time it was hard to find even a place to stand! The bullriders of the National Federation of Professional Bullriders (NFPB) and the Bullriders of America (BOA), the two sanctioning bodies of the event, felt the electricity in the crowd and gave them their best. Midwest Bullfighters Association Crown Jeremy Muntz Champion[Mar. 21, 2009] It has been a fantastic year for the bullfighters of the Midwest Bullfighters Association filled with great freestyle bullfights and the roar of excited fans. The 20008 season came to a dramatic close in Burlington, Iowa in a three day finals in conjunction with Snow Bull the second stop on the Extreme Bullriding Tour. The edge-of- your-seat action ended with Jeremy Muntz claiming the 2008 Championship.
