Greetings!
Nic had had this 'growth' between his hind legs for about 5 years. It had kept getting bigger and bigger. Once peanut size it had grown to golf ball size and was beginning to rub hair off when he walked. And it was getting bigger.

It was looked at by a couple vets but tumor location and size made it a procedure where Nic would have to be sedated. Rolled onto his back for the surgery meant it was definitely NOT a pasture procedure.

In the past, I had taken 2 other horses to Pioneer Equine Hospital over in Oakdale, California. Nic had been there before when he had a hoof problem. So Dr. MacDonald and the other vets, staff were familiar with him.
