Horse Buying Basics
Q: After a long lay-off from horses, I'm ready to buy a horse this spring! I'm so excited and I want to make sure I get the best horse I can afford. Although I used to ride a lot, it's been a while and it seems like a lot has changed in the horse world. I'm wondering if you have any advice for someone in the market for a new horse? --Joy

A: Yes! Horse shopping can be an arduous and frustrating process, but it helps to have thought things out ahead of time and have some insider information. I have put together some helpful information for people in the market to buy a horse-everything from where to find them, what to look for and what questions to ask. Here's a link to a PDF to print and take with you as you shop. We also just aired a Horse Master episode about horse shopping. You can find the "behind the scenes" discussion about what to look for here. Good luck in your search. . . .DOWNLOAD NOW>>
