Clemson, SC, January 20, 2008. Clemson University’s mascot is the regal Clemson Tiger and when you visit Clemson tigers are spotted everywhere throughout this college town. But on January 18 and 19 PBBA bucking bulls and there proud owners were sighted more often than Clemson Tigers.

Clemson’s Garrison Arena hosted the 2007 PBBA National Finals. Twenty seven of the top 2007 PBBA bulls competed for High Point Bull of the Year and for Finals Champion. Wally Barnette’s bull 133 Meltdown walked away with the 2007 High Point bull of 2007. Barnette was awarded a custom semen tank donated by Russ Princ with GenEX Alabama and a custom trophy buckle from Bob Berg Designs.

The Clemson Tigers witnessed two nights of very close bucking bull competition. The Finals Champion was 9 Angel Eyes owned by Seth Louthan. Louthan was award a supply of feed supplement by War Zone and a Bob Berg buckle. Cody Brown’s bull S Lil Hoot was awarded the Reserve Champion buckle. The third place buckle went to Deviled Egg entered by Danny Scroggins & Craig Sourbox. Dell & Donna Elrod’s bull, D10 earned the fourth place buckle and Mike Porter’s bull 13 Homer took home the fifth place buckle.

The PBBA sanctions open bucking bull competitions for bulls of all ages regardless of pedigree. During 2007 it has paid out over $60,000 in price money with 116 different bulls competing. The 2008 PBBA schedule will posed on www.pbbanow.
