PBR Bulls Too Tough?

After the event in Dallas there has been lots of conversation as to whether the bulls are "too tough". By far the quality of the bulls used today has risen drastically over the last decade. As an industry we offer the fans not only outstanding competitors but outstanding livestock. In bull riding it is not just the cowboy in the arena competing it is also the bull. Today's bull breeders consider this very serious business. As I read these comments I had to laugh to myself. A while back I received e mails about an event that the writers felt "the bulls were not of the quality we have come to expect from the PBR". The riders had a "real" good weekend and therefore the writers questioned the bulls. Overall, I feel we have more to worry ablout finding good young bulls for the beginners. If a rider makes it to the top he should expect that the bulls he is riding will be the cream of the crop as well. That is my 2 cents worth. Check out the links below for other opinions including a press release by the PBR with Cody Lambert's thoughts on the subject.
