Lyman, SC, June 1, 2008 - Rodeo legend Charlie Lowry knows a good thing when he sees it and he knows great bulls when he sees them. Lowry who produced his first PBBA event in the summer of 2007 was the producer of the second annual Ringgold, GA PBBA.

The Georgia heat and humidly do not seem to effect the twenty one bulls competing. After the dust settled the champion bull was D10 Ruby Red belonging to Dell & Donna Elrod. Their red bull once again proved himself to be the bull to try and beat. His score of 174.75 earned the Elrod’s a first place check.

Ricky West’s bull #31 earned a total score of 174.25 and a second place check. Third and fourth place was shared by Coley Treadway’s & Daniel Rollins’ bull, 855 Johnny Gold and Wally Barnette’s bull 414 Swimmer with scores of 174. Mike Porter’s bull #13 Homer earned Porter a fifth place check with a score of 173.25.

We filled the time Saturday afternoon playing Washer Board, pitching horse shoes; listening to some great singing and guitar and harmonica music, and a few stories from Ernie Treadway. A great time was had by all.

The Ringgold, GA PBBA event was also a Southern Extreme Bull Riding Association (SEBRA) event. The SEBRA bull riders had their hands full with these top PBBA competition bulls. The fans were on the edge of their seats during both performances as both the bulls and cowboys competed. To learn more about SEBRA visit www.sebranow.com.
