Lyman, SC, July 7, 2008– Mike Porter founder and President of the Professional Bucking Bull Association (PBBA) announced the creation of the new bull rider’s association the National Bull Riders (NBR).
NBR memberships for 2008 are free for all bull riders, stock contractors and other personnel. The NBR series was created for all bull riders who enter SEBRA events that are also PBBA competitions.
The PBBA sanctions open bucking bull competitions for bulls of any age. All cowboys that mount PBBA bulls are eligible to compete at the NBR finals will also be the PBBA finals. The top PBBA bulls will be mounted by the top NBR bull riders. The NBR finals will be in January of 2009 and will have at least $5,000 added money, a trophy saddle and Bob Berg buckle. It will also be sanctioned by SEBRA.
