The MEGA-Genetics sale held
this past weekend in Orchard TX at the Bucks By Design ranch was a huge
success. There were over 70 different buyers that made purchases from 20
different states and two from Canada.
Four of the top 7 buyers are all new to the bucking cattle industry
and all said they are excited about the investment opportunities. They
included a professional footbal player with the Houston Texans, Two
Couples from Virginia that have formed a partnership to invest in
this industry, a retired oil man, and a business owner from Amarillo,
TX.

Design said , " The exciting category to me is the 50% on
Pre-Futurity Bulls. We probably formed at least ten new partnerships
with fans of bull riding that could not otherwise be involved in our
industry. Most of these people have a swimming pool and a dog in their
backyard. We will do all the work and haul the bulls to ABBI futurities
in 2009, and they will just show up and have fun."
