NM Gov. Announces Plan to Deal with Bovine TB in New Mexico's Curry County
[Jun. 16, 2007] Governor Bill Richardson announced that the state is taking aggressive action to minimize the impact of a dairy cattle herd in Curry County that has been diagnosed as having bovine Tuberculosis. Bovine TB is a bacterial disease that affects primarily the upper respiratory tract of cattle.
 
CNFR: Officials adjust chutes after incident
[Jun. 14, 2007] Roger Walters, the CNFR arena director, said staff from Powder River Livestock Handling Equipment, the company that provides the green gates and chutes surrounding the arena, came in early Wednesday to weld the discs onto the chutes.
