The animals have no names because they haven’t earned them. This recent Saturday is a testing ground, where the handlers separate the rodeo potential from the walking hamburgers.
Civic center inks 5-year contracts for stock show[Oct. 31, 2007] A new saddle bronc rodeo, season passes for 10 rodeo performances, an expanded buffalo sale, a Western art show and a cattle embryo sale will be among new features at the 2008 Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo.
The bull supplier[Oct. 30, 2007] With a string of outstanding bulls to his credit, the name Hempenstall is quickly associated with legendary Brahman "Chainsaw". Universally regarded as the greatest Rodeo Bull of all time, Chainsaw was a direct product of the Hempenstall Brothers, George and Richard.
Professional Bucking Bull Association (PBBA) Watkinsville, GA[Oct. 24, 2007] The Oconee County Heritage Park near Watkinsville, GA was a great location for a record PBBA event. Twenty-six contractors from six different states brought thirty-eight bulls to compete in this record PBBA event. Producers Double S Bucking Bulls and Wayne and Summer White did a fantastic job with this SEBRA bull riding and PBBA Open Competition.
PBR Bull Team Competition Announces Top 48 Bulls[Oct. 18, 2007] Several weeks ago the Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) announced a lucrative opportunity for fans to become involved with the PBR's bovine stars and win their share of 2.4 million in prize money. Those interested in owning a PBR bucking bull can actually purchase a team of five bulls for the 2008 Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS) season. These bulls will compete and could win as much as $20,000 per BFTS regular season event and an amazing $500,000 at the PBR's 2008 Built Ford Tough World Finals
