With the September/October issue, bucking bull fans in many western states will be able to find the Bull Pen magazine on their local newsstand, right alongside Sports Illustrated and Newsweek.

Kent News Distributing in Commerce City, Colo. contacted FanCorp Publishing in August with the offer to supply hundreds of stores with their popular Bull Pen magazine. “We have been quite successful with another bull riding magazine in our stores,” enthused Kent News executive Rob McKinney. “When we learned Bull Pen was available, we jumped at the chance to distribute it to our many retailers.”

“This opportunity comes at a good time,” acknowledged Bull Pen distribution manager Jeannie Kaiser. “We continue to explore avenues to reach fans of the bucking bull industry on a mainstream level, and this gives our advertisers a greatly increased audience. The multitude of western states we will be exposed to are the heartbeat of this growing industry.”

Now in its fifth year, Bull Pen, the official publication of American

Bucking Bull, Inc. (ABBI) is the most widely-read and respected bucking bull industry publication and is the leading authority on breeding, buying and bucking bulls.

The ABBI provides DNA registration and verification for the bucking bull industry and holds competitive events for bulls 2, 3 and 4 years of age.

To receive Bull Pen on a bi-monthly basis, subscribers can join the U.S. Bucking Bull Assn., a tax-exempt, non-profit agricultural organization established in 2003. Its mission is to promote bucking bull ownership, breeding, training and welfare while enhancing the marketability and value of bucking bull stock. All USBBA operations, including the USBBA Bucking Bull Incentive Program, are conducted in association with ABBI activities and events.
