American Bucking Bull, Inc. (ABBI) proudly announces the release of the 2009 America's Greatest Bucking Bulls Calendar. The bucking bull market has never been hotter, as evidenced by the $250,000 to be awarded to the top ABBI bull in Las Vegas next month.
For the fourth straight year, bull riding fans will be able to display a collection of America's greatest bucking bulls, up-close and personal, beginning with December 2008 which boasts the bulls and bloodlines of Hart Cattle Co., superstar bull rider J.W. Hart's successful breeding program.
Other well-known programs include 6-time PBR Stock Contractor of the Year D&H Cattle Co.; Homestead Genetics; Rice Ranch; and Tedesco Bucking Bulls (co-owner of 2007 PBR World Champion Bucking Bull Chicken On A Chain).
The 16-month calendar, features 13 poster-sized displays of many of today's most respected breeders, and sells for $12.95. It is available at select Western stores across the country and at specialty stores including the popular Christmas retailer known simply as The Calendar Club. It is also available from the Professional Bull Riders (PBR), who officially license the sought-after publication, and on-line at bullpenmagazine.com.
"Each year, we tell the story of how these bucking bull breeders raise and train these athletes for the rigors of the PBR Built Ford Tough Series competition," reports Editor Susan Bedford of FanCorp Publishing. "We also expose fans to the dynamic ABBI Classic and Futurity bulls who are the rising superstars of our industry. The
2009 calendar delves into the foundations of these programs by identifying the bloodlines that form their roots. We also explore each breeder's philosophy and methods of operations. It paints a pretty clear picture of why they are so successful."
ABBI promotes and serves the bucking bull industry by providing DNA animal registration, breeder services and education. ABBI administers a highly-competitive bucking bull series of competitions across the country for Futurity and Classic bulls, in partnership with the PBR.
ABBI also holds an annual sale in Las Vegas featuring the industry's best bloodlines. This year the sale is on Wednesday, November 5 at the South Point Hotel & Casino during the PBR World Finals. Several breeders featured in the ABBI calendar have animals or their bloodlines available through the sale.
