American Bucking Bull Inc.

PUEBLO, Colo. (January 2, 2009) - The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) and American Bucking Bull Inc.(ABBI) are proud to announce that they have exceeded projected numbers for 2008! With over 20,000 animals being entered into the genetic database, the ABBI is quickly approaching over 80,000 animals. This is a 35% increase over last year’s registration numbers. <!--[endif]-->

The ABBI is not only growing its registration numbers, but has grown in its new member numbers. The membership has grown to over 3,000 members with over 700 new members for 2008 and 112 of those are registered as Jr. Members, the next generation of breeders.

“The ABBI has just started to realize its true potential. With the strength of this year's ABBI breeding programs, bulls such as Crosswired, Jacob's Pet, El Presidente, Lightning McQueen, and Black Pearl, are soon to become household names at the PBR events. It is a very exciting time to be involved in the bucking bull industry,’’ stated Andee Lamoreaux, ABBI’s General Manager.

The ABBI is also offering a new way to be involved with the sport without owning bulls. New to 2009, the USBBA has been created. For an annual fee of $25, USBBA members will receive six issues of Bull Pen Magazine, the official magazine of the ABBI, with each issue including feature stories on some of the top and up and coming bull breeders, recaps the previous events, lists the standings of the Classic and Futurity animals, and more.
