Lyman, SC, March 8, 2008. Trae Shelton and Terry Johnson of J Bar S Bucking Bulls of Carrollton, GA (www.jbarsbuckingbullco.com) competed in several 2007 PBBA open bull competitions. Two bulls that qualified for the PBBA Finals and generated a lot of talk in the back pens were their bulls L22 Wildcat Black Betty and 3 Ninja Turtle.
After seeing these two J Bar S bulls perform Ricky West of Fyffe, AL convinced them to sell their PBBA bulls. Ricky West has hauled several bulls to all levels of the PBR including the Built Ford Tough series and the PBR Finals.
Congratulations to all parties and we look forward to seeing more of L22 Wildcat Black Betty and 3 Ninja Turtle at future PBR events.
The PBBA sanctions open bucking bull competitions for bulls of all ages regardless of pedigree. During 2008 it expects to sanction over 20 events paying out approximately $125,000 in total price money. In addition the expected purse for the 2008 PBBA Finals is projected to be $50,000 or more.
