“LAST CHANCE STAMPEDE” HITS SASKATOON

The final stop on the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association’s 2006 regular season takes place this coming weekend in Saskatoon, Sask. at the Credit Union Center, September 29-October 1.
For 28 contestants, the New Holland Saskatoon Stampede Pro Rodeo marks one last chance to qualify for the $1 million dollar Canadian Finals Rodeo, to be held November 8-12 in Edmonton, Alta.
But, there are about 225 other contestants who also want a piece of the prize pool in Saskatoon who are standing in their way.
As far as the level of competition goes, you would have a hard time finding a better roster. In total, there are 25 Canadian champions and five world champions competing at this week’s event, who’ve won a combined total of 57 Canadian and ten world championship buckles.
