Canadian Superior Energy Inc. Announces Evening Bulls and Barrels for Charity Event During Calgary Stampede[Jun. 19, 2007] It's called Bulls and Barrels for Charity Rodeo and it will likely be the most exciting private corporate function in the Calgary area during Stampede week. Certainly it will be the most unique.
The two-day event is scheduled for the evenings of July 11-12, 2007 and is being sponsored by Canadian Superior Energy Inc. and other corporate sponsors and it will be held at Canadian Superior's Chairman Greg Noval's family's large scenic ranch on the Sheep River about five miles west of Turner Valley.
Who doesn't want to be John Wayne?[Jun. 2, 2007] More than 20 enthusiasts have paid $350 each for a three-day seminar to brush up their skills at the Marchand family ranch in the Okanagan Valley.
Instructor Gary Leffew is impressed and later remarks as he replays the videotaped, 10-second ride on a TV: “That is how you ride a bull.”
PRCA Statement Regarding the Cloverdale, British Columbia Rodeo[May 25, 2007] The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) is aware of the decision of the Cloverdale Rodeo in Surrey, British Columbia to not hold all standard rodeo events at their 2008 event. Class Of ’07 Announced - Canadian Hall of Fame[Apr. 20, 2007] The Canadian Professional Rodeo Hall of Fame is pleased to announce its list of 2007 inductees.
