CPRA press release ~ September 25, 2009[Sep. 26, 2009] CALGARY, ALTA. – The last two regular season rodeos of 2009 are upon us; and, as all eyes turn towards who will make the roster for the Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR), two Alberta barrel racers are vying for a single spot at the Wrangler Professional Rodeo Tour Championships in Calgary Oct. 2 through 4.
Local riders compete in barrel racing finals[Sep. 18, 2009] Nine local girls were in Hamiota at the end of August for the finals of the Manitoba Barrel Racing Association.
Competitors included Taylor Reimer, Pam Kornelson, Mallory Mayert and Morgan Reimer of Morden, Lissane Frank of Darlingford and Emily Harder, Sarah Wiebe, Laney Harder and Carly Harder of Winkler.
