Budd Williamson from Ayr North Queensland posted his first win on the PBR Australia Tour in 2006. Round 11 of the PBR Australia Touring Pro was held at the historical Gargett Rodeo Grounds last weekend.

Twenty one bull riders competed over two complete rounds. Round One was split between Matt Postle from Emerald 86 points on Gold Buckle's Red Alert and Larry Everingham Mackay 86 points on Gold Buckle's Fly Bait. Budd Williamson placed third with 84 points on Trevor & Tony Dunne's Prowler. In the second round the crowd got to see some great bull riding with Michael Cross winning the round on 2003 Bucking Bull of the Year Gold Buckle's Daybreak for 88 points. Ryan Storey from Clermont took second placing on Trevor & Tony Dunne's Silver City for 87.5 points and Michael Chapman from Maryborough and Budd Williamson split 3rd and 4th on 86 points.

Heath Shrimp holds onto the lead that he had going into the event over Tim Wilson, with both riders riding their first round bulls then both coming down before time on their second round bulls. With one event remaining to overtake Shrimp for the prestigious opportunity to represent Australia at the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas later this month Wilson is running out of opportunities. Shrimp is sitting in a good position to be making the trip overseas.

The PBR Australia Touring Pro Tour moves next weekend south to the Ettomogah Pub, Caloundra Qld then to Atherton, North Qld on the 21st October. Collinsville Qld will host round 14 of the tour on the 28th October. The PBR Australia Touring Pro Finals will be held at the Great Western Hotel Arena, Rockhampton on the 30th & 31st December
