Arizona's US Congresswoman Giffords is getting closer to finalizing our National Day of the Cowboy (Cowgirl) legislation and dropping it in the House. She already has 6 original cosponsors: (Ralph Hall- NY, Burgess - TX, Lungren - CA, Cubin - WY, Hunter- CA and Rodriguez - TX). The Congresswoman is very excited, but we need to help her garner more cosponsors right away.
If your US Representative is not on the above list, please call or email them tomorrow and let them know you want them to cosponsor Congresswoman Giffords' National Day of the Cowboy resolution. If you are unsure as to who the Reps are in your state, you can check it out at http://www.house.gov/house/MemStateSearch.shtml
If you want to see the Cowboy Day have an even bigger impact in 2008, now is the time to contribute to the process by contacting your congressperson with this request.
