The silver anniversary of the 25th Annual Casper Baca Bullriding Extraordinaire rides into McGee Park this Thanksgiving weekend. The event will feature over 150 to 200 bullriders from all over the country and the best of the best in professional bullriding. This is the first stop on the 2009 Loyal American Tour of his Bares, Broncs and Bulls Roughstock Series for the bullriders only. This stop will feature some great young bullriders like Spud Jones (2008 NFR qualifier), Nelson Tsosie (World's Toughest Cowboy and 3 x Indian World Champion), Ryan Bitsui (World Champion), Travis Briscoe (3x PBR Word Finals Qualifier), Ryan McConnell (PBR World Finals Qualifier), Jared Green (World’s Toughest Cowboy) and many more that have major credentials as well. Bullriders will compete for over $40,000 dollars in prize money and over $3,000 in awards. Buckles, jackets, spurs and much more will be up for grabs Thanksgiving weekend. If you’re a bullrider and want to get in on the action, please call 505-287-9534 to enter.
The bullriding starts at 7:30 pm both nights and you can get advanced tickets at the Boot Barn in Farmington at either locations. You will be able to buy tickets at the door but this event has been known to sell out, so don't wait. Advance tickets adults $12 and at the gate $15. This will be the Southwest's largest bullriding and you don't want to miss it. What better way to come out and work off some of that dinner from the day or two before and cheer on some of the best bullriders.
This is the largest bullriding on Thanksgiving weekend so come enjoy the 4 corners country in Farmington with the Silver Anniversary of the Extraordinaire. I will be behind the microphone for my 3rd year at this event and McGee Park will be rocking on this weekend. You don't want to miss it as the awards will be held at Farmington’s hottest nightclub, the Top Deck following the Saturday night bullriding. We'll see you there.
