On Saturday, February 13th Hannah Hilsabeck will be officially crowned 2010 Miss Teen Rodeo Iowa during a night of fun and fund raising. Hannah will use the money raised at her coronation ceremony to fund her year of travel throughout Iowa promoting rodeo at various functions.
The event will be held at the Jackson Building at the Madison County Fairgrounds in Winterset, Iowa. There will be several visiting rodeo royalty on hand to help Hannah celebrate and to meet all of Hannah’s supporters. Those in attendance will also have an opportunity to bid on great auction items as well as enjoy a delicious meal. Following these activities there will be entertainment provided by several times Extreme Bullriding Tour Entertainer of the Year, Mark Keaton along with Ryan Skillett.
Hannah is the 17-year-old daughter of Greg and Stacy Hilsabeck. She is a senior at Winterset High School where she is active in cheerleading, pep club, National Honor Society and FFA. She is also very involved in horse and rodeo related activities. Hannah is a member of the Central Iowa Dancing Hooves equestrian drill team, and the Iowa Rodeo Cowboys Association (IRCA). Other titles she has held include the Miss Abdallah Shrine Rodeo, the Miss Dallas County Fair Rodeo 2009 and Miss Extreme for the Extreme Bullriding Tour. She plans to attend Iowa State University and double major in agriculture education and agriculture business.
Want to help Hannah? Besides attending her Coronation Ceremony and Fund Raiser the committee is still taking donations for the auctions until February 12th. Donations can be made by contacting R. Todd Crase at 515-250-8171.
Tickets (including meal) are adults $10.00 and children (ages 6-12) $5.00. Children under 5 are free. The committee would appreciate RSVP’s by February 12th if possible. Checks may be made out to Miss Rodeo Iowa, Inc. and mailed to 1410 Hwy 169, Winterset, Iowa 50273.
