[Dec. 9, 2007] Amy Sue Wilson was named the 53rd Miss Rodeo America. The Colby, Kansas native graduated from Colby Community College with an Associates of Science degree in Agri-Business and Associate of Arts in Communications.

[Sep. 24, 2007] ELLENSBURG - Five candidates for the 2008 Ellensburg Rodeo Royal Court are set to under go evaluations this Saturday, part of the process that will lead to two of them being chosen to serve next year as the rodeo’s queen and princess.

Rodeo Queen hosts a special rodeo
[Aug. 28, 2007] On Sunday, Aug. 19, Becca Barnes, Junior Miss Rodeo Tehachapi 2006, inspired many community members to volunteer their time, while creating a great opportunity for children with special needs to participate in rodeo activities.

Special rodeo activities included calf roping, bullriding, barrel racing, and horseback riding. The children were escorted through the events by a cowboy, a rodeo queen, or rodeo queen contestant and each child received a signed photo taken with their special rodeo escort. Each participant also received a cowboy hat, bandanna and “sheriff badge” name tag.
