Page 2 of 6 1 2 3 4 5 6 Rodeo queen to be chosen this Saturday[May 7, 2008] Wisconsin - The 55th-annual Spooner Rodeo's first event for the season gets under way Saturday, May 10, when a new Spooner Rodeo queen will be selected from among seven area contestants. The competition will be held at the Spooner Rodeo Grounds starting at 10 a.m. The queen candidates have written their profiles.
The work of a rodeo queen is never done[Feb. 21, 2008] The next few days will be busy ones for 17-year-old Kirsten McManus. The queen of the Florida High School Rodeo Association has a list of responsibilities she must attend to, and she also will be a competitor in a local rodeo that opens Friday.
Miss Rodeo America 2008 is Amy Wilson of Kansas[Dec. 9, 2007] Amy Sue Wilson was named the 53rd Miss Rodeo America. The Colby, Kansas native graduated from Colby Community College with an Associates of Science degree in Agri-Business and Associate of Arts in Communications.

Reading opens up the world of learning, rodeo queen says[Sep. 25, 2007] Cami Cushing, who in July ended a hectic year of activities and appearances as Miss Rodeo Utah 2006, says reading opens up a whole new world of learning. "If you can read, you can do anything," she said. (I agree!)
Rodeo Royal Court candidates ride this Saturday[Sep. 24, 2007] ELLENSBURG - Five candidates for the 2008 Ellensburg Rodeo Royal Court are set to under go evaluations this Saturday, part of the process that will lead to two of them being chosen to serve next year as the rodeo’s queen and princess.
Rodeo Queen hosts a special rodeo[Aug. 28, 2007] On Sunday, Aug. 19, Becca Barnes, Junior Miss Rodeo Tehachapi 2006, inspired many community members to volunteer their time, while creating a great opportunity for children with special needs to participate in rodeo activities.
Special rodeo activities included calf roping, bullriding, barrel racing, and horseback riding. The children were escorted through the events by a cowboy, a rodeo queen, or rodeo queen contestant and each child received a signed photo taken with their special rodeo escort. Each participant also received a cowboy hat, bandanna and “sheriff badge” name tag.

Killion wins Miss Oklahoma Rodeo title[Aug. 16, 2007] Kristin Killion of Chickasha, representing the Will Rogers Stampede Rodeo was selected to reign as the 2008 Miss Oklahoma Rodeo on August 4, 2007, in Oklahoma City.
