Petersen Makes a Move in World Standings Claiming first event win of 2007 at Mohegan Sun Invitational
The Professional Bull Riders' (PBR) Mohegan Sun Invitational thrilled East Coast bull riding fans over the weekend. Wiley Petersen (Fort Hall, Idaho) claimed his first event victory of the season heading into the home stretch of the Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS) 2007 season. Petersen was the only man to ride all four bulls and finished with 339 total points. He won $29,880 in PBR bucks, boosting his career earnings to $824,326. The event victory marks Petersen's first win of the season and the tenth of his career.

Round 2
A sell-out crowd heated up the Professional Bull Riders' (PBR) Mohegan Sun Invitational tonight in Uncasville, Conn. as the top 45 cowboys in the world continued to battle for one of the illustrious seats at the 2007 PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals presented by Wrangler (BFTS). Kansas' young super star, Kasey Hayes (Liberal) claimed the round victory with an 89.75 point ride aboard Chad Berger/Winston Loe's Gold Bell Wine. Hayes added $2,730 in PBR bucks to his career earnings.
Hayes virtually secured his spot in the top 45 for Finals back in February in Atlanta, Ga. when he claimed the event championship and more than $82,000 in earnings. However, gaining momentum in the final weeks of the BFTS season is instrumental in preparing for the PBR World Finals.

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (September 28, 2007) - As the race for the 2007 Professional Bull Riders' (PBR) World Championship continues to heat up, East Coast fans witnessed the top 45 bull riders facing off against the world's rankest bucking bulls in round one of the Mohegan Sun Invitational this evening. Brazil's Robson Palermo (Rio Branco, Acre) claimed top honors in this preliminary round of competition and added $7,000 to his PBR career earnings. Palermo rode Jeff Robinson's Live Wire to a score of 88.75 points. The Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS) is on the final stretch of the 2007 season's 30-city tour before it wraps up in front of thousands of fans in Las Vegas for the PBR World Finals on Oct. 26 - Nov. 4.

On September 28-30th the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) will return to the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut for the 27th event of the PBR’s prestigious 2007 Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS) - the Mohegan Sun Invitational. This is the 4th consecutive season that the top 45 bull riders in the world will visit the Connecticut resort, bringing the toughest sport on dirt to the East Coast fans.
Fans in Uncasville will get to witness a part of PBR history as Luke Snyder (Raymore, Mo.) breaks the record for competing in the most consecutive events. The record is currently 197 events in a row, which was held by “Iron Man” J.W. Hart (Marietta, Okla.) and tied by Snyder in Grand Rapids, Mich. on September 21 – 22, 2007.
