Lyman, SC, October 24. The Oconee County Heritage Park near Watkinsville, GA was a great location for a record PBBA event. Twenty-six contractors from six different states brought thirty-eight bulls to compete in this record PBBA event. Producers Double S Bucking Bulls and Wayne and Summer White did a fantastic job with this SEBRA bull riding and PBBA Open Competition.

D10 Ruby Red owned by Dell & Donna Elrod made his PBBA debut and scored a well deserved 177 points and earned the Elrods a check for $3800. Previous PBBA champions 231 Southern Gangster, owned by Coley Treadway and 133 Meltdown owned by Wally Barnette tied for second place with 176 points each. There was a three-way tie for fourth and fifth place. Rocking H Bull’s 217 Rock Star, 421 No Smoking from Gary Blythe and Wally Barnette and 649 Recoil belonging to F Bar K Rodeo all scored 174.25 points.

The PBBA sanctions open bucking bull competitions for bulls of all ages regardless of pedigree. Since its very first event in April of 2007 it has paid out over $50,000 in price money with 116 bulls competing. The 2007 PBBA Finals is scheduled for January, 2008 in Clemson, SC where the top forty 2007 PBBA bulls will all compete for the coveted title of PBBA Champion.
