Ft. Worth, TX – Presented by Tuff Hedeman’s Championship Bull Riding (CBR) the final championship round of the Youth Bull Riding World Finals (YBRWF) begins at 7:00 pm at the Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum tonight. Sixty competitors will be trying to win the “richest youth bull riding in history”. Production presented by the CBR, contestants, fans and parents will be treated to a professional show including pyro technical displays and cowboy introductions. For four days, 320 aspiring youth bull riders have packed the bucking chutes of the YBRWF in 6 categories: Mutton Bustin, Calf Riding, Jr. Steer Riding, Sr. Steer Riding, Pee Wee Bulls, and Open Bull Riding. YBRWF 2008 World Champion, Wrangler Dunda, enters the championship round tonight in the number one position covering three of his three bulls at this year’s event.

16 year old Cody Panero of Penn Valley, CA won the third round with an 80.5 on a 4R Bucking bull. “This great bull had lots of timing, he was powerful and I had to keep lifting my rope and moving my feet to keep up on him”, the junior from Nevada Union High School recalled about his ride. Mr. Reagan told me what he would do and said if I rode him I would win the round and I did. Panero represents the Western Region Junior Bull Riders Association of California and attributes his success to working out and getting on lots of practice bulls. He runs in the morning and gets on practice bulls at his sponsor, Outlaw Rodeo Company, headquarters in Sheridan, WY. Cody rides in tonight’s championship short round in the number 10 position.

Other third round winners include Cody Johnson, Odessa, TX in the Pee Wee Bulls, Jayden Roberts, Sr. Steer Riding, Boudreaux Campbell, Plantersville, TX - Jr. Steer Riding, –, Dalton Shepard, Norco, CA - Calf Riding, and Koltin Hevalow, Smithville, MO – Mutton Bustin.

The YBR World finals are structured under the Texas Youth Bull Riders, Inc., a Non-profit 501 c 3 organization based in Fort Worth, Texas. Since its inception in 2007, Andy Carter and Mike Vergari have managed the YBR World Finals. The YBR World Finals was founded on the belief that every child's dream can come true if only given something to believe in. It is a three long round event with a fourth championship “short go” performance on Saturday, August 8, 2009.

The Mission of the YBRF is to host the richest Youth Bull Riding in history, and crown the World Champion Youth Bull Riders. YBRF strives to bring awareness and fundraising efforts to children's health care issues. There are approximately 27-plus Youth Bull Riding associations across the United States. Unlike Little League Baseball and many other youth activities, there is not a legitimate governing body that brings these kids together to compete at a level such as the World Series. This is where the YBRWF comes into play. We bring the top athletes from around the country (ranging in age from 4 to 19-yrs) together to compete and when the dust settles at the Will Rogers Coliseum and the bulls are back in the pens, we all know who are the WORLD CHAMPIONS.
