[Aug. 28, 2007] J.D. Crouse hasn't missed a Colorado State Fair Rodeo since he can't remember when and the Canon City cowboy is 37 years old.

Crouse was part of a monster group of competitors in the slack round on Monday at the Budweiser Arena Ñ the morning session for overflow in the timed events of tie-down roping, steer wrestling and team roping.

Finley has been around rodeos his entire life. For 20 years, he competed professionally. Now he spends most of his time as a professional rodeo judge and clown. When he's not running from bulls and making audiences laugh, he organizes open bull rides at county fairs.
