83-Point Rides Take Center Stage at National Western[Jan. 15, 2010] DENVER, Colo. --- There were two 83-point efforts at the top of the leaderboard at the third performance of the National Western Stock Show Rodeo on Thursday.
In bareback riding, it was Josh Luger from Fort Yates, N.D., who was the most successful. He rode the Burns Rodeo Company horse named Gray Coat. While his 83 is in second place in the first round of competition, it puts him in position to get another good score tomorrow and qualify for the finals. NCBA: Professional Bull Riders, Darryl Worley To Perform At Cattle Industry Convention[Jan. 12, 2010] The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) is proud to announce the NCBA Invitational, a special event featuring performances by the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) and country-music singer Darryl Worley. The NCBA Invitational will be the finale event of the 2010 Cattle Industry Convention. The exclusive show, sanctioned by PBR, will take place Friday night, Jan. 29 at Cowboys Dance Hall in San Antonio, Texas.
Three-Way Tie Highlights Lancaster Event Center Bullriding[Jan. 5, 2010] The first stop on the 2010 Extreme Bullriding Tour gave an awesome look of things to come in the new year. The crowd was treated to many of the top riders in the Midwest competing on the bulls of the Attack Pack of Double S Bull Company. The riders were from the Bullriders of America (BOA) and the National Federation of Professional Bullriders (NFPB) including several reigning and previous champions. The riders were matched against not only some well-known bulls but some new additions to the Attack Pack. The riders were not surprised with what they already knew - Shad Smith knows bucking bulls and his bulls buck! Just one reason why the tour continues to draw top riders year after year.
