Rodeo Insider - PBR's big payday is worth every buck
[Oct. 16, 2007] The Professional Bull Riders just keeps devising creative ways to handsomely pay its competitors.

There's the Cabala's World's Foremost Ride, which awards a cash prizes to the cowboy with the highest-marked ride of the regular season. Two-time world champion Chris Shivers earned $25,000 for his 93.25 point ride in July in Tulsa.

The De Kalb, Texas, bull rider is no stranger to taking risks, but at a Resistol Relief Fund Blackjack tournament at the Silver Legacy Casino in Reno, Nev., on Sept. 8, White played it safe in the final round, and was paid off in spades.
