ARENA LEGACY, THE HERITAGE OF AMERICAN RODEO[Dec. 1, 2010] What better gift could you give someone than a book that identifies with their deep pride and love of western heritage and the sport of rodeo. ARENA LEGACY is a coffee table book that will be opened and read and the pictures viewed time and time again. It is a combination of history, art, and important names in rodeo. It is written by Richard C. Rattenbury, Curator of History at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, with a Foreword by World Champion Cowboy Larry Mahan, and collection photography by Ed Muno, and published by the University of Oklahoma Press. IRREPLACEABLE RODEO MEMORABILIA STOLEN[Jun. 25, 2010] After placing important family rodeo memorabilia in a storm cellar in Enid, Oklahoma, due to threatening weather including tornados the last few weeks, it was discovered last night that one suitcase of items is missing. Wayne Cornish, of Enid, discovered the theft and is grief-stricken because of the loss of the contents of the suitcase. Cecil Cornish was a rodeo celebrity, from Waukomis and Enid, and had a career as a contract performer for over 40 years. By Gail Woerner
