World Rodeo Federation and WPRA Create More Opportunities for the Rodeo Community
[Jan. 11, 2007] The World Rodeo Federation, an aggregating entity that acquired the IPRA, in an effort to continue its vision of One Community, One Voice, One Sport, looked to partner with the WPRA to create more opportunities for barrel racers. Two weeks ago in Las Vegas, the WRF and the WPRA agreed to take steps in the direction of a more unified industry by allowing the WPRA circuit directors the option to include all IPRA rodeos in their region to count towards WPRA points. The topical solution increases member incentives while maintaining the integrity of each association independently.
