Bushwacker's Dance Hall and Saloon to host "Dine With Gary Leffew Night"

On June 21st from 7 PM to 10 PM Bushwacker’s Dance Hall and Saloon is hosting rodeo legend and bull riding guru, Gary Leffew in a special “Dine With Gary Leffew Night". Gary will be on hand in the resturant of the famous entertainment spot serves a complete menu along with specials for the evening.. There is no age limit so bing the whole family!

Gary Leffew was inducted into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in 2002 and is known as the rodeo guru of positive thinking (psycho-cybernetics). During his career as a bull rider he qualified for seven National Finals Rodeos. Following the 1966 season when he finished 10th in the world standings he hit a slump in his riding. When self-doubt set in he began the positive-thinking program and his use of visualization techniques that took him to the 1970 world championship and NFR aggregate title.

Today with the help of his sons, Judd and Brett, Gary is teaching his techniques to a new generations of bull riders – programming them to be champions through his use of visualization, video feedback, good techniques and strength of the mind — at Gary Leffew Rodeo Schools. Gary will be in Nebraska from June 18th – 21st teaching one of these schools at the Lancaster Event Center in Lincoln, Nebraska prior to his public appearance at Bushwackers’s.

Renowned not only for his accomplishments in the rodeo arena, Gary is equally well known for his work in Hollywood working on several major movies and television shows, probably the two most famous being the movie, “8 Seconds”, and the television series, “Deadwood”. Among his famous students include actor, Luke Perry and the members of the rock band “KORN”. Many of the current top riders in the sport of bull riding are former students of Gary’s or use the techniques he teaches.
