Eight-time world champion Whitfield finally healthy, ready to make return in Reno
[May 17, 2007] Absent from ProRodeo competition for five months due to back and shoulder surgery, tie-down roper Fred Whitfield has been given medical clearance by Dr. Tandy Freeman to launch his bid for an 18th consecutive berth in the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
